At the risk of seeming like I’m ripping off The Pioneer Woman’s hotel tour, I really just want to tell you about the hotel we stayed in while visiting Columbus. You know, when this happened. And, for the record, I had planned on telling you about this hotel as soon as we booked it, which was before PW’s hotel tour began. That’s my defense. (And if anyone is wondering just who the heck this Pioneer Woman is, she’s only one of the most fabulous bloggers known to man. Or at least woman. Pay her site a visit…you won’t regret it.)
So back to the hotel. Evan and I had first seen it a few years ago when planning a trip to Columbus, and really wanted to stay. But it just didn’t work out with the people we were traveling with and the part of town we needed to visit. But this trip, all came together beautifully and we made it. I only took my pitiful little point and shoot camera, so forgive the photos. But check it out!

That was one comfy bed. Great for propping a sore knee up on.
And check this bathroom out. It was so clean, I took a bath without getting the willies even once. AND there’s both subway tile (swoon) with honeycomb tile (double-swoon).

The rates are mid-range and the service was good. I would definitely stay again if I needed a hotel right downtown. And bring my good camera next time.
