In case you need some last-minute inspiration for gifts…here are the things I’ve found this month that I just need to tell you about.
ChocolateCoveredCherries.com – I happen to do design work for the lady who makes these oh-so-good cherries. I don’t even love chocolate covered cherries, and could easily have eaten half a dozen of these in one sitting. For one thing, they’re huge. For another, they’re about 6.5 times more delicious than any store bought confection you might have previously eaten. And if you’re a local to the Huntington WV area, you can pick them up at WV Quilt on Main Street in Barboursville for only $15 for a box of ten. If you order them online, they’re a few dollars more.

And while I’m thinking of chocolate, don’t forget to head over to your local Starbucks and order a Peppermint Mocha before the red cups disappear for another 10 months.

This past weekend while in Columbus, I got to make a stop at Anthropologie. Of the 143 things I loved there, this was one. A simple, vintage-inspired floral hair clip. It doesn’t really go with the jeans and sweaters I wear most days, but if I had a special occasion, this would be a lovely little accessory for my hair that is now long enough to pull up/back.

My spice cabinet is far, far from organized. In fact, I secretly groan every time I have to climb up on our kitchen chair (I’m short) and fish something out. So we found this at The Container Store. We haven’t installed it (I actually have to do a couple shelf-rearrangements to get it to a spot where it will fit. But I have high hopes for this little organization tool.
And then there’s this bowl from Crate and Barrel. I just really like it, ok? It reminds me of the Beijing National Stadium, which I also liked.
