I made my favorite easy-as-pie recipe yesterday, and wanted to tell you about it. (By the way – where does that saying come from, because assembling a pie is not as easy as most other things I do in the kitchen!)
Insert into your slow cooker:
4 boneless pork chops, or pork shoulder/butt if you prefer
3 peeled and sliced Granny Smith apples
1 medium sweet (Vidalia…mmm) onion
2/3 cup brown sugar
Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Enjoy. (Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or wahtever you feel like).
